‘Thank God’ Poster: Ajay Devgn shares first look of mythological flick, set to clash with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Ram Setu’

The film is expected to be a comedy packed with mythology and stars Rakul Preet Singh and Sidharth Malhotra along with Devgn.

New Delhi: Ajay Devgn will be playing a mythological character in his upcoming venture ‘Thank God’. The actor shared the first-look poster of the film, announcing the release date for the trailer and the film. The film is directed by Indra Kumar, who is known for his comedy franchise like ‘Dhamaal’ and ‘Masti’.

The film is expected to be a comedy packed with mythology and stars Rakul Preet Singh and Sidharth Malhotra along with Devgn. Rakul Preet and Ajay Devgn have previously worked together in ‘De De Pyaar De’ and ‘Runway 34’. In the poster, Ajay flaunts a bearded look in a suit paired with sunglasses as he sits on a throne. In another poster of the film, Sidharth Malhotra can be seen around black and white balls with words like ‘jealousy’, ‘lust’ and ‘delusion’ written on them. Sharing the posters, all three actors wrote, “This Diwali, Chitragupt is coming to play the game of life with you and your family! Get ready for the grand release of #ThankGod!”

The film is set to release on October 25 and will clash with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Ram Setu’, which will release on October 24. Fans might be choosing between the two, or they might go for both of them.

While Ajay now has three collaborations with Rakul Preet, he might be seen along with Sidharth in the upcoming Amazon Prime Video series Indian Police Force, which follows Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe. Ajay Devgn was last seen in ‘Runway 34’ while he did cameos in ‘RRR’ and ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ and Rakul Preet Singh was seen in ‘Cuttputlli’ alongside Akshay Kumar. Meanwhile, Sidharth Malhotra will be seen in ‘Yodha’.
