New Delhi: Rising stars Suhana Khan (daughter of Shah Rukh Khan), Agastya Nanda (grandson of Amitabh Bachchan), and Khushi Kapoor (sister of Janhvi Kapoor) make their Bollywood debut in the upcoming adolescent musical comedy flick The Archies. Today sees the release of another track from the Zoya Akhtar-helmed film, Va Va Voom, following on the heels of Sunoh.
The Archies, a film aimed at a younger audience, is one of the year’s most-anticipated comedies. The film, directed by Zoya Akhtar, has a cast of up-and-coming actors and actresses. The first song from the film was well received, and now comes a lively dance tune called Va Va Voom, adding to the anticipation for the film.

About the Song
The breathtaking visual extravaganza continues with periods of elegant dancing showcasing Agastya, along with the gorgeous Suhana Khan and Khushi Kapoor. On this entrancing and funky track, the three skillfully pull off manoeuvres and flips with the help of Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, Yuvraj Menda, and Aditi “Dot” Saigal.
Archie is the star of the song, as he takes the spotlight to do a dance sequence and sing for Veronica and Betty throughout the song. The peppy song is youthful and exuberant, and it has a sense of nostalgia about it, much like the rest of the advertising material for the movie.
Shankar Ehsaan Loy is responsible for the composition of Va Va Voom, while Javed Akhtar and Tejas contributed to the song’s lyrics and vocals, respectively. In the music video, three young actors dance with great precision in a setting that has been meticulously built by Zoya Akhtar. Akhtar is attempting to bring the spectator to the world of Archie Comics, which is set in 1960s India.
