Plot

A double homicide murder happened 16 years ago. It was never solved. No one ever found out who the killer was.

The detectives of the case cannot let it go cold. Because everyone knows the consequences of letting a case go cold. It never comes up again, covered in the dust and remnants of its lost clues and details.

Therefore, to not let this unsolved murder case become another add-on to the cold cases in the darkest corner of the room, a detective team is sent out. The team is paired with a genealogist to find out who the murderer was.

The lead informant of the detective team meets up with the Genealogist. He tells him about the murder of two people in 2004 and how the case has remained unsolved to this day. The lead informant asks the Genealogist if he can help them.

He explains that the DNA of over 6000 people has been tested. Old clues have been revised again and again. But it’s as if the murderer is no longer on the face of the earth. On hearing the detective’s information, the genealogist asks him if they have the criminal’s DNA.

The Genealogist explains that if he’s made to solve this case, the detectives must take up his offer to create a DNA Bank. The more people’s DNA gets tested, the more efficient.

The detective is curious as to why the Genealogist seems so confident in his abilities. But the Genealogist confidently reassures the detective that this job is the easiest in the world as long as they have the criminal’s DNA with them.
