New Delhi: There is a forthcoming television series that will be a historical comedy called The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin. Noel Fielding will play the titular character in this series.
This British comedy, which was co-directed by Ben Palmer and George Kane, depicts the tale of a thief – Dick Turpin – who is not a typical burglar. He steals throughout the night while hiding in hidden places and doing his crimes. One of Dick’s many talents is that he can break people’s hearts and enchant them more quickly than a comic can crack their punchlines.

Plot
After being reluctantly selected head of a gang of outlaws and given the mission of outwitting corrupt lawman and self-proclaimed thief-taker Jonathan Wilde, Dick Turpin embarks on a mission of outrageously ludicrous adventures in – The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin.
Dick is the most infamous highway robber in this comedy, set in the 18th century. His charisma, stage presence, and impressive mane are the main reasons for his success. As he and his band of charming outlaws strive to evade the thief-taker, Dick experiences the ups and downs of his new ventures, including an encounter with a famous person.
When and Where to Watch?
The premiere of this historical comedy-drama will take place on March 1, 2024, and it will be exclusive to AppleTV+. There are six episodes in this brand-new comedy-drama.

Cast and Crew
Noel Fielding will play the role of Dick Turpin, a highwayman, in a series that has been given the go-ahead by Apple TV+. Marc Wootton, Ellie White, Hugh Bonneville, Asim Chaudhry, Tamsin Greig, and many other actors have also taken part as the casting members.
In the first three episodes, Ben Palmer is the director, while George Kane is the director of the fourth through sixth episodes. Claire Downes, Ian Jarvis, and Stuart Lane, together with Michael Fielding, are the creators of the series, and they are also responsible for writing the first episode. Jon Brittain and Richard Naylor, along with Fielding, create episodes two through six.
