The Current War OTT Release: The upcoming English Historical Drama is all set to debut in India. The film will premiere on November 8th on Lionsgateplay. The film was also premiered in the Toronto Film Festival on September 9, 2017. Plot The film follows the story of the two greatest inventors of the Industrial age who compete with each other to light up the world with their power of electricity. Thomas Edison and George Westinghouse wants to distribute power to the people They both compete with each other to sell their electric bulb on cheap and affordable prices. However things take an interesting turn when Westinghouse invites Edison to dinner. Westinghouse wants to prove that he has a better technology and people must go and buy his electric bulbs. He also carries a demonstration of his bulbs around cities in Marcg 1886. Meanwhile Edison starts working with another inventor Nikola but after sometime they begin to disagree on some of the ideas due to which Nikola leaves Edison. However on the other side, both Edison and Westinghouse continue their fight What happens next and who will finally win the fight will be shown in the later part of the film. The film received mixed reviews but the performance of the actors was lauded by the audience. The film was released in the United States on October 25, 2019.
