The Day of the Jackal OTT Release: The upcoming Political thriller is all set to arrive in the OTT Platforms on 15th November on Jio Cinema. The film received a positive response from the audience and critics and won many awards. Plot The story of the Political thriller follows the life of an assassin popularly known as the 'Jackal'. The assassin is hired to kill the French President in the summer of 1963. The film is based on the novel by Frederick Forsyth. The British Intelligence Agent Bianca is hired to capture the assassin and she begins with her mission. However, Bianca's seniors feel this is the most challenging task and are afraid that Bianca will not be able to live up to their expectations. Apart from being the toughest assassin, Jackal is also known to be one of the most perfect examples of the art of disguise which allows him to whisk anywhere he wants. The story moves around the time of 1962 When there was a strong bid to assassinate the French President everything turned upside down when the assassination attempt failed. Meanwhile, the assassins make another attempt to kill the President. The OAS leaders who wanted to kill the French President then hired the most popular assassin 'Jackal' for a whopping amount of money. The assassin makes all the possible arrangements to accomplish his goal However, when the assassin is busy finishing his task, on the other side British Intelligence hires an agent to track down the Jackal and things take a dramatic turn when the British intelligence officer starts to track down the Jackal in a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase across Europe, leaving destruction in its wake.
