The Diplomat OTT Release Date: Veteran Bollywood actor John Abraham’s latest political thriller ‘The Diplomat’ was released on the big screens on March 14th, 2025.
Directed by Shivam Nair, the film received a rave reception from the fans at the Box office, and the same helped it emerge as a commercial hit by the end of its theatrical run. Amassing a whopping Rs 53 crores against its modest Rs 20 crore budget, the action-packed concluded its BO journey as a major success, and now, it is all set to try its luck on the digital screens as well.

According to the latest reports, The Diplomat will make its long-awaited OTT premiere on Netflix in the coming days. While an official confirmation about the same is awaited, sources suggest that the movie might drop on the OTT gaint on or around May 9, 2025, offering the fans a chance to enjoy it right from the comfort of their homes.
Plot
Based on Indian diplomat J.P. Singh’s real-life story, The Diplomat, written by Ritesh Shah, shows how Singh’s heroic diplomacy, wit, and mindfulness helped Uzma Ahmed safely return to India following her forced marriage with a Pakistani man on the other side of the border.
