The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection OTT Release Date: On SBS, viewers can look forward to the premiere of The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection, the highly anticipated second season of the popular Korean drama series about retribution.

New Delhi: Release day has arrived for the long-awaited suspense drama, The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection, also known as The Resurrection of the Seven.

The complex storyline and A-list actors have already made a name for it. Following 2023’s critically successful The Escape of the Seven, this suspenseful drama is the sequel.

Storyline

In the last instalment of this suspenseful series, we saw seven villains drawn into the terrible plot of the gigantic villain Matthew Lee, and then a girl goes missing, her whereabouts obscured by a web of deceit and desire.

With their fresh beginnings, the seven characters will continue their story in the next season. They go on a mission of revenge against Matthew Lee.

This captivating teaser trailer shows the seven reincarnated individuals’ desperation and their teamwork. SBS has unveiled the riveting trailer for The Resurrection of the Seven, offering a sneak peek at its intriguing plot. In the tantalizing preview, we see seven individuals go on a quest for revenge against a notorious villain whose crimes were horrific.

Release Date and Platform

On SBS, viewers can look forward to the premiere of The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection, the highly anticipated second season of the popular Korean drama series about retribution. March 23, 2024, will see the debut of the next season on SBS. Supposedly, each Saturday, two episodes of the sixteen-episode drama will be released simultaneously till May 11, 2024.

However, the SBS official Instagram account has announced that March 29, 2024, will be the premiere date.

Cast and Crew

An impressive array of actors and actresses round up the cast, including Uhm Ki Joon (Matthew Lee), Hwang Jung Eum (Geum Ra Hee), Lee Yoo Bi (Han Mo Ne), Lee Joon (Min Do Hyuk), Yoon Tae Young (Kang Ki Tak), Yoon Jong Hoon (Yang Jin Mo), Leo Deok Hwa (Bang Chil Sung), and many more.

Lee Jung Shin, who co-starred with the previous season’s actors, returned for the next season as Hwang Chan Sung, a brilliant CEO and an integral part of Matthew Lee’s strategy.

Joo Dong Min, whose work includes the popular The Penthouse series, is the director of this thriller. In addition, Kim Soon Ok has written the script for The Resurrection of the Seven.
