The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir OTT Release: South Indian superstar Dhanush debuted in Hollywood with Ken Scott’s adventure comedy movie titled The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir.
Written jointly by Romain Puertolas, Luc Bossi, and Ken Scott, the film is based on The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir Who Got Trapped in an Ikea Wardrobe, a book penned by Romain himself.
On May 30th, 2018, the film was screened in several theaters across France and Belgium, following which, about a year later, on June 21st, 2019, it made its way to the big screen in India.
However, despite offering a unique and adventurous story to the audiences, The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir failed to click with the cinemagoers and ultimately concluded its Box office run with nothing but disappointment. Made with a massive USD 20 million budget, the film only managed to collect a disappointing USD 3.26 million from the ticket windows, and now it is available for streaming online on OTT.

The star-studded cast of The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir features Dhanush, Bérénice Bejo, Erin Moriarty, Barkhad Abdi, Gérard Jugnot, and Ben Miller, amongst many others in pivotal roles.
Luc Bossi, in association with Jon Goldman, Saurabh Gupta, Aditi Anand, Gulzar Chahal, Grégoire Lassalle, Genevieve Lemal, and Jaime Mateus-Tique have bankrolled the film under the banners of Sony Pictures Entertainment France, Cactus World Films, Digital District, Impact Films, M! Capital Ventures, Aleph Motion Pictures, TF1 Studio, Brio Films, RTBF, Vamonos Films, Scope Pictures, and Little Red Car Films.
