Originally airing from 1981 to 1986, Fall Guy was a television series. Although the film had shaky sets, low-stakes action, and some acting that belonged on a cheese board, David Leitch was drawn to Lee Majors’ charming portrayal as stuntman hunter Colt Seavers. Based on an actual 1980s TV series about stunt performers, David Leitch’s latest action comedy, The Fall Guy 2024, is a rough adaptation of the plot.
The tale revolves around a stuntman who becomes entangled in a plot involving the film’s star actor while working on an action flick directed by his ex-girlfriend.
Plot
According to the story, a stuntman named Colt Seavers quit his job to take care of his emotional and physical well-being. When Colt’s ex-girlfriend Jody offers him a position on an exciting science fiction film, he jumps at the chance. He is known for his work as Tom Ryder’s stunt double. Tom, the film’s main guy, goes missing, and it’s up to Colt to track him down to save the project.

A good dosage of humour, however, is interspersed with explosions and mystery. Release Date
Critics were largely pleased with the screening of The Fall Guy at SXSW on March 12, 2024, and the film went on to break the Guinness World Record for most cannon rolls on a car.
Universal Pictures is currently releasing the picture to theatres. The official US release date for this action-comedy spectacle, The Fall Guy, is May 3, 2024. The good news is that the film’s release in India is also scheduled for about the same time, so Indian moviegoers won’t have to wait long.

Cast and Crew
There is a fantastic ensemble cast in The Fall Guy. Leading the pack is the seasoned stuntman Colt Seavers, played by Ryan Gosling. On the other side, we have Emily Blunt, who plays Jody Moreno, Colt’s now-action film director ex-girlfriend.
A star-studded cast, including Teresa Palmer, Stephanie Hsu, Winston Duke, and Hannah Waddingham, is also present in the picture.
