New Delhi: The famous seinen manga series, Oshi No Ko took the internet by storm with its release in April 2023, with two seasons already having established themselves with large fanbases.
The release date or streaming platform for the anime’s third season is yet to be announced.
Plot
The plot follows a doctor and his patient, who both die in unfortunate circumstances yet find themselves thrown into the cycle of reincarnation. They are born as twins to a famous Japanese musical idol, Ai Hoshino.
The series follows the two protagonists reborn as the twin children of a famous pop idol, as they see through the lives of famous idols an screen stars. How they navigate their way through the hurdles of life, while pretending that they both are normally aged children. The conscious of their previous life still remains active.
The doctor, Gorou Amamiya, is tasked to help with the delivery of Ai Hoshino. Ai is a famous Japanese pop idol he holds deep admiration for. The only con behind this? The general public shouldn’t find out about this.
However, an obsessed fan of the pop idol murders Gorou on the night of Ai’s delivery. To his surprise, he reincarnates as Aquamarine, or Aqua Hoshino, Ai’s son.
Unbeknownst to him, his fraternal sister, is his old patient Sarina. Together, the two go through the motions of their new lives. As the children of a famous pop idol, they must remain shrouded in the shadows.
