New Delhi: The first trailer for the prequel to the legendary horror series, which started with the film The Omen, starring Gregory Peck, was released by 20th Century Studios on Thursday, January 4, 2024.

The trailer was posted on Instagram by the official page of 20th Century Studios India, which also included a caption that said, “Create something to fear.

Watch the new trailer for #TheFirstOmen, only in cinemas April 5.”

In addition to that, the filmmakers also distributed the poster for the film, where they wrote, “Evil is coming. #TheFirstOmen arrives only in cinemas April 5.”

When the original version of The Omen was released, Gregory Peck portrayed the role of an ambassador who is convinced that his little son is the very embodiment of the Antichrist. In addition to three sequels that followed the original Omen film, a remake of the film was produced in 2006, and it starred Julia Stiles, Liev Schreiber, and Mia Farrow.

Presently, Nell Tiger Free, Tawfeek Barhom, Sonia Braga, Ralph Ineson, and Bill Nighy are among the notable actors who have been cast in The First Omen films.

Featuring a plot written by Ben Jacoby and a screenplay written by Tim Smith, Arkasha Stevenson, and Keith Thomas, the film is directed by Arkasha Stevenson and is based on characters that were developed by David Seltzer.

Tim Smith, Whitney Brown, and Gracie Wheelan are the executive producers, while David S. Goyer and Keith Levine are the producers of the product.

The First Omen will be released in cinemas on April 5, 2024.
