New Delhi: In the second instalment of the suspense thriller The Freelancer – The Conclusion, Mohit Raina is prepared to complete the objective of rescuing Aliya. The creators have announced the release date of the final part of the web series, after the success of the first part on the OTT streaming platform. Neeraj Pandey, who is also the show’s producer, has helmed the production.
Featuring Mohit Raina (Avinash), Anupam Kher (analyst Dr. Khan), and Anupam Kher (Aliya), The Freelancer was produced by Shital Bhatia of Friday Storytellers.

Plot
In this film adaptation of the novel “A Ticket To Syria,” former police officer turned mercenary Avinash Kamath faces the impossible challenge of freeing Aliya, a young bride caught in the middle of the Syrian civil war, all as the terrorist threat posed by ISIS escalates.
The protagonist, a former police officer, is now a freelance spy willing to take on new missions for cash. The plot narrates an ISIS camp in Syria holding a girl, and the freelancer is recruited to locate her. It comes to light later that the girl he was tasked with locating is his close friend’s daughter. At this point, he starts to see it as his own mission.
Even though the mission was ongoing, the first season of the show aired just four episodes before ending. Fans of the series are eagerly awaiting the conclusion, which they hope will reveal Aliya’s whereabouts.

On Friday, December 15, 2023, Disney Plus Hotstar will release The Freelancer—The Conclusion. Released on September 1, 2023, The Freelancer quickly became one of the most-watched action-thriller TV series in India.
