‘The Ghost’ New Teaser: Nagarjuna to fight underworld in upcoming action-thriller

New Delhi: The makers have released a new teaser of Nagarjuna Akkineni’s upcoming action-thriller ‘The Ghost’. The new promo is titled Tamahagane. In the film, Nagarjuna will be seen as an Interpol agent fighting the underworld.

Sharing the teaser on his Twitter handle, the actor wrote, “#TAMAHAGANE!! A legendary metal for the Katana of the fiercest of warriors through the ages. Now in the hands of #TheGhost!!” Tamahagane translates to precious steel. In the 2 minutes 19-second long promo, Nagarjuna is seen opening a box which contains precious steel. He then goes on to make a sword out of it, to battle the underworld which is coming after him.

“The sword feels proud in the hands of The King,” reads the text in the promo. While countless armed personnel come to fight the ghost, he is ready to face them with a pistol and a sword. Fine editing and an impactful background score created an intriguing promo.

Fans were eagerly waiting to see their star Nagarjuna in an action flick, and finally, they will get it. He was last seen in the supernatural action-comedy ‘Bangarraju’

Directed by Praveen Sattaru, the film also stars Sonal Chauhan, Gul Panag, Kajal Aggrawal and Anikha Surendran. The film is produced by Suniel Narang, Puskur Rammohan Rao, and Sharrath Marar under the banners of Sree Venkateshwara Cinemas LLP and Northstar Entertainment.

The trailer of ‘The Ghost’ will release on August 25, while the film will release in theatres on October 5. Meanwhile, Nagarjuna will be seen in ‘Brahmastra: Part One- Shiva’ which will release on September 9.
