Storyline
As the name suggests – The Great Indian Family is centred on a funny Indian family known as the Tripathis. The show was produced by Aditya Chopra, who is widely regarded as one of the most successful producers in the Indian entertainment business. In the story, Ved Vyas Tripathi, also known as Bhajan Kumar, is a devout Hindu boy whom Vicky Kaushal plays. He is from the small town of Balrampur.
Ved is an ardent follower of Hinduism since he was raised in a devout home. When he discovers his old identity is different from the one, he has been taught throughout his life, it throws his whole world into moral disarray and internal struggle. Ved, who is going through an identity crisis and other problems, sets off on a quest to learn more about himself. This fresh take on an old subject involves a journey of religion, an identity problem, and family.
