The Great Indian Family Trailer OUT: Vicky Kaushal as an ‘Undisputed King’ ready to present a joyous ride

New Delhi: With the unprecedented success of his last film, the romantic comedy Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, Vicky Kaushal is now preparing to premiere his next film, the much-anticipated family comedy The Great Indian Family.

In anticipation of the film’s debut on September 22, 2023, Yash Raj Films has unveiled the film’s long-awaited trailer, which suggests that viewers may look forward to a humorous look at the quirks that characterise Indian households.

The film is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and has major roles by Manushi Chhillar, Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra, and Sadiya Siddiqui.

A lot of excitement has been generated by today’s release of the official trailer for The Great Indian Family. There are serious and humorous scenes in the trailer. In it, Vicky Kaushal plays Bhajan Kumar, also known as Ved Vyas Tripathi, the “Undisputed King” of Balrampur. Those in Bhajan Kumar’s family who do Puja rituals and worship have earned respect as Brahmins. The problem is, that he wants to get into a committed relationship but most of the females he meets touch his feet as a sign of respect.

The trailer also features Manushi Chhillar, who has a highly recognisable appearance in it. On the other hand, as the trailer progresses, a significant turn of the plot is revealed. Bhajan finds out that he is not considered to be a legitimate child by his parents and that he was born into a Muslim family.

The trailer hints at a narrative with both humorous moments and a serious social message.
