New Delhi: The Hill, directed by Jeff Celentano and starring Colin Ford as Ricky Hill, is about a young man whose degenerative spinal disease prevents him from pursuing his ambition of becoming a professional baseball player. An uplifting life story of Ricky Hill, whose remarkable ascent against all difficulties is chronicled in the film. Overcoming life-altering obstacles, Ricky pursued his goal of becoming a professional baseball player because of his unwavering dedication and enthusiasm for the game.

By highlighting the importance of sticking to one’s goals and never giving up, The Hill hopes to inspire viewers to follow their passions without fear and discover their unique routes to happiness and success.

Plot

From what Ricky can remember, he has always wanted to play baseball at the major league level. Ricky remains steadfast in his faith and self-confidence despite the physical limitations that hinder him from running and moving like his friends. He moves forward with the help of leg braces. His brother Robert is an unwavering rock for Ricky on this trip; every time Ricky overcomes the odds and hits the ball further than anybody could have imagined, Robert’s delight knows no bounds.

As a local church pastor, Ricky’s father is having difficulty making ends meet, adding to their less-than-ideal financial situation. Pastor Hill first frowns upon Ricky’s ambitions and thinks a weak body can’t win against a passionately determined soul. He suggests Ricky give up on his ambition and think about becoming a pastor instead. But Ricky doesn’t give up on his dream and moves forward.
