The Iron Claw OTT Release Date: The historical narrative of the Von Erich brothers, titled The Iron Claw, is all set to make its debut on Lionsgate Play; the launch is scheduled for this coming Friday, June 14, 2024.

New Delhi: Sean Durkin’s biographical sports drama The Iron Claw follows the tragically stricken Von Erich family as they navigate the world of professional wrestling. Tragic events abound throughout the film, which spans the years 1979–1990 and follows the wrestling company owner Fritz Von Erich’s sons as they strive to live up to the dreams their father had for them.

On November 8th, 2023, the premiere of The Iron Claw took place at the Texas Theatre in Dallas County. A24 was the company that distributed it in the United States on December 22, 2023, and Lionsgate was the company that distributed it in the United Kingdom on February 9, 2024. On June 14, it will begin its premiere in India, which will be aired on Lionsgate.

Plot

The film chronicles the sad quest of Fritz Von Erich’s sons, set from 1979 to the early 1990s, as they strive to fulfil their father’s aspirations for them as wrestling company owners. It chronicles the ups and downs of Kevin and Kerry Von Erich’s careers and their brotherhood through the emotional storms they face.

Brotherly wrestling tandem with the Von Erich brothers, who achieved fame in the 1980s, reenact their real-life narrative in the film. Under the watchful eye of their overbearing father and coach, the brothers experience highs and lows as they compete for sports immortality on the biggest platform in the world.
