As per the report, the show will go on a break and come back with some changes in content and cast. The actors require such breaks and Kapil Sharma has been taking out time for his family when going on these breaks from the show. The team is likely to wrap up the shoot in May and the last episode will then be aired in June.

The duration of the break is not yet decided. The report also suggested that Kapil Sharma has an international tour lined up that might take place during this break.

After the show came back from its last break, performers Krushna Abhishek and Chandan did not join The Kapil Sharma Show. Krushna stated that he had some issues with the channel while Chandan went on to try new avenues.

The show has seen various actors including Sumona Chakravarti, Kiku Sharda, Bharti Singh, Rochelle Rao and Srishty Rode as part of the pivotal cast, while there have been performers like Rajiv Thakur, Karishma Sharma and others who have been part of a few episodes. The show began in 2016 and took its first break when it parted ways with Sunil Grover and Ali Asgar.
