New Delhi: Actor Akshay Kumar is all praise for the movie ‘The Kashmir Files’, a Vivek Agnihotri directorial depicting the torture & exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the valley in 1990s.
Days after thanking the crew of Kashmir Files for bringing the audience to cineplexes, the actor again heaped praise on the movie for bringing before public, the heart-wrenching stories of Kashmir’s most tragic history.
Speaking at an event in Bhopal, he also spoke about how Vivek Agnihotri film decimated his latest flick ‘The Bachchan Pandey’ at the box office and also quipped ‘meri film ko dubo diya’
In a clip, shared by Vivek on his Twitter account, Akshay said, “The Kashmir Files came like a huge wave in the country that shook all of us. Wo aur baat hai ki meri picture ko bhi dooba diya.”

Vivek also replied to Akshay for praising his film, that brought bitter truth of the valley on silver screen.
The Kashmir Files has been unstoppable at the Box Office has grossed over Rs 200 crore in just 2 weeks of release. It is the biggest hit in the post pandemic era and has even surpassed blockbuster movies like Dangal in earnings in the second week.

While Akshay starrer The Bachchan Pandey has received dull response and barely managed to survive at theatres. Akshay’s flick Bachchan Pandey is a multi-starrer film with leading star casts. But, despite big stars & marketing promotion, the film bombed at the box office.
