‘The Kashmir Files’ was released in cinemas in India on March 11. The plot of the film is based on video interviews of the first generation victims of the Genocide of the Kashmiri Pandit Community in 1990.

In the beginning, the film received a historic rating of 10/10 on IMDb. However, it was later reduced to 8.3 and the platform said that we ”detected unusual voting activity”. At present, the rating is stable at 8.3/10.

Vivek Agnihotri has directed the movie which stars Mithun Chakraborti, Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumaar, and Pallavi Joshi in the lead role.
