The Kerala Story Box Office Collection Day 14: Adah Sharma’s film soon to cross the Rs 200-crore mark, now at Rs 171.09 crore

New Delhi: Adah Sharma’s film The Kerala Story is currently on track to make Rs 200 crore at the box office. Despite a number of problems, the film became the second highest-grossing Hindi film of 2023. Sudipto Sen’s directorial debut has made headlines due to its delicate and contentious theme. However, on May 18, the film’s box office took a modest dip. Despite this, the movie managed to earn a massive Rs 171 crore at the domestic box office.

The Kerala Story was released on May 5th, despite all of the controversy surrounding it. It has been unstoppable at the box office since then. Despite various concerns, the film’s box office performance was unaffected. The Kerala Story crossed the Rs 150 crore mark in theatres on May 16.

According to early estimates, the film saw a significant dip on Day 14, May 18. It is said to have made Rs 6.50 crore at the box office. As a result, The Kerala Story’s total collection is currently at Rs 171.09 crore. On May 18, it had a total Hindi occupancy of 19.57%.

The Kerala narrative tells the story of Adah Sharma, a Hindu woman from Kerala. She is tricked into accepting Islam and deported to Syria, where she is forced to join the terrorist organization ISIS. There, she is tortured. Sudipto Sen directed the film, which was produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah.
