The Kerala story completes 4 weeks in theatres, here is how much it has earned

The film became a huge hit in the initial days of its theatrical release and did a good collection at the box office.

New Delhi: Sudipto Sen’s directorial, The Kerala Story, emerged as the second highest-grossing Hindi-Film of 2023. The film showcases the story of a very serious subject of religious conversion, ISIS, and the circumstances of the three women. It is now nearing the fifth week of its release. The film became a huge hit in the initial days of its theatrical release and did a good collection at the box office, however, it has slowed down in its box office collection now. It seems difficult for the film to touch the mark of 250 crores at the box office.

Despite all the controversies the film was dropped in theaters on May 5 this year. Since then it was doing well at the box office. On the first day of its release, the film earned a decent amount, and subsequently on day 18 of the film it crossed the mark of 200 crore. Although after soaring so high in its initial days, the Kerala Story slowed down in its collection. According to the report the film earned 1.25 crore on June 1, making it reach the total stand of 231.66 crore. On June 1 it had an overall 10.67 percent occupancy in Hindi Cinemas
