New Delhi: Indulge in a forthcoming feel-good comedy that will be perfect for a Christmas binge. In December, Netflix launched a multitude of new programmes and movies and Christmas Eve will be something amazing to prepare a comedy watch. The Manny, a brand-new Mexican comedy series, will soon be joining the fun.
The promotional trailer was already made public. The brief trailer introduces us to a working-class mother and divorced business executive. She hires a nanny to take care of her three children while she deals with all the commotion and work. Jimena reaches a tipping point when she meets a charming rancher who pretends to be a manny (male nanny). In addition to capturing the hearts of both the kids and their mom, The Manny has interesting components, such as a family secret.
In the next touching comedy, it will be fascinating to see how the two characters navigate gender norms and the reversal of roles.
Storyline
Staying organised in her life is a constant challenge for Jimena. She is juggling a lot: caring for her three children, running for president of the firm, and dealing with her nearly ex-husband. Then she meets Gaby, a lovely rancher who, much to her surprise, becomes her children’s ideal babysitter. Surprisingly, Gabriel and Jimena will have a love story that defies gender norms.

The series has an amazing ensemble of performers that make the characters come alive.
Sandra Echeverria, Ivan Amozurrutia, Diana Bovio, and Jose Maria Torre are all members of the ensemble cast. Echeverria plays Jimena, a strong-willed single mother; Bovio is Brenda; and Torre is Joaquin, an ex-husband. Anthony Giuletti, Moises Arizmendi, Cassandra Iturralde, and Alexander Tavizon are among the other cast members.
The protagonist of The Manny is a young guy whose father’s estrangement from him forces him to return to his hometown. We can all relate to the show’s premise—that we, as loved ones, have to take charge and make tough decisions.
