New Delhi: Taissa Framiga’s gothic horror flick The Nun 2 made it to the big screens last year on 8th September.The movie, which arrived in the cinemas as the 8th installment of The Conjuring Universe is the second installment of its super hit prequel The Nun which was released in cinemas back in 2018.
Although the film only managed to garner mixed responses from horror genre enthusiasts during its theatrical run, it emerged as a massive commercial success at the Box Office, minting a whopping Sum of Rs 2236 core by the end of its journey at the ticket windows. Now, after months of enjoying a dream run at the BO, The Nun2 is all set to entertain the fans by arriving on OTT platforms in the coming week.
The Nun 2 OTT Release Date:
For all those who are interested, The Nun 2 is set to premiere on Jio Cinema on 7th February 2024. Announcing the official news of the supernatural-horror flick’s arrival on their digital platform, Jio Cinema, on Friday, took to its Insta handle & wrote, “The greatest evil in the conjuring universe is coming on JioCinema. TheNun 2 streaming from 7th Feb.”

In the same post, Jio further revealed that their platform will offer the film in 4 different languages which are English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. Meanwhile, it is crucial to note here that only those users who have a basic subscription to the service will be able to watch the movie on Jio Cinema.
The Nun 2 Story & Cast
Helmed by ace director Michael Chaves, The Nun 2 is the prequel to the iconic Conjuring series which is set in 1756’s France. The film tells the tale of sister Irene who once again comes face to face with sinister demon nun Valak while investigating the case of a friar’s mysterious murder.
In its star-studded cast, the Amarican horror flick sees Taissa Farmiga and Jonas Bloquet in the lead roles while featuring Storm Reid, Anna Popplewell, Bonnie Aarons, Katelyn Rose Downey, and Suzanne Bertish in supporting roles.
