The Park Manic OTT Release Date: Maurício Eça’s ambitious upcoming crime thriller titled ‘The Park Manic’ is one of the most awaited Brazilian movies of this year.

Starring Giovanna Grigio and Silvero Pereira amongst many in key roles, the promising drama, inspired by the story of Brazils’s most infamous serial murderer Francisco Pereira, is slated to hit the digital screens on December 31st, 2024 when it will premiere on leading OTT platform Amazon Prime Video. The Park Manic Plot

The Park Maniac follows the compelling story of Francisco Pereira, a ruthless serial killer who made headlines in the 1990s and terrorized the streets of  Sao Pulao by attacking multiple women.

It shows how Pereira, disguised as a courier boy, roamed around the Brazilian capital on his two-wheeler and brutally assaulted over 21 ladies while killing 10 of them.

The film also follows Elena, a struggling reporter who passionately indulges herself into investigating more and more about Francisco’s case with the hope of reviving her career by doing the same.
