New Delhi: A forthcoming documentary series on Netflix called – The Program: Cons, Cults and Kidnapping follows the lives of victims who were sent to a correctional school after being marked problem children when they were younger. It became public knowledge that the program’s adults had brutally harmed the children, despite the school’s stated mission of protecting them and helping them reach their full potential.

An upcoming crime documentary series will include this narrative and provide key details about the occurrence.

Plot

Due to its diploma-granting procedures, the for-profit boarding school and behaviour rehabilitation institution known as The Academy at Ivy Ridge was threatened with closure and legal action. It catered to disturbed youths. Students were partially refunded and the institution was fined because it was unauthorised to provide degrees. After being rejected for certificate issuance, the institution closed its doors in 2009.

The official video shows a group of teens abducted in the dead of night and taken to Ivy Ridge Academy. Several disturbing pictures show pupils suffocated or lying face down on the floor with their wrists bound behind their backs. The recording of the documentary series includes both original and recreated videos.

Director Katherine Kubler and her fellow indoctrination and abuse survivors from the punishing boarding school go back to the site to face their common past.
