This time, they are coming up with a documentary based on the life of a Norwegian gamer. It will arrive on Netflix on 25th October.

The documentary was premiered in the World Documentary competition on 19th January 2024 where it won 2 awards -the audience award and the Directing award and it continued to screen in festivals like Chicago Critics Film Festival.

About the Documentary

The show follows the life of a gamer Mats who is suffering from a degenerative muscular disease and passed away at the age of 25. After his death his parents started receiving messages from friends and the warcraft community.

His family members receive a shock when his friends and community members connect with them and they discover shocking truth about him

Mats used to spend most of his time on his wheelchair and gaming, so his screen time was high. His parents used to feel sad that he never get to play with his friends in park or play games with them.

The documentary is created by filmmaker Benjamin and it also reflects the life of those who struggle with musular dystrophy. The film also throws light on how the gaming community can impact the life of many.
