The Silent Hour OTT Release Date: Joel Kinnaman and Sandra Mae Frank’s latest crime-thriller flick The Silent Hour received a mixed reception from the fans at the Box Office.

Helmed by Brad Anderson, the movie, on October 11th, 2024, was released on the big screens and now, it is also available for watching online on a renowned streaming platform.

Those who couldn’t make it to theaters to watch The Silent Hour during its Box Office run can now enjoy the movie right from the comfort of their homes on Amazon Prime Video.  However, one may note that a subscription to the OTT giant’s services will be required to access the film online.

Plot of the Film

The Silent Hour tells the tale of Frank Shaw, a detective employed with the Boston police department whose life runs upside down after he gets involved in a massive road accident.

This leaves Frank with a loss of hearing which eventually results in him getting terminated from the NYPD. However, despite being fired, the guy takes on himself to ensure the safety of a deaf person from notorious criminals and corrupt police officials who are behind the latter’s life. What happens next and how Frank executes this challenging mission is revealed in the film.

Cast and Production

The Silent Hour features a set of skilled actors including Joel Kinnaman, Sandra Mae Frank, Mekhi Phifer, Mark Strong, Michael Eklund, Djinda Kane, and Katrina Lupi in its main cast. Eric Paquette has produced the movie with AGC Studios and Meridian Pictures backing its under their banners.
