The Survivors OTT Release Date: Netflix‘s subscribers are in for a treat as yet another spine-tingling web series is heading to the OTT giant this summer season.
Promising to take the viewers on an emotional rollercoaster with its thrilling storyline and power-packed acting performances, the upcoming Australian drama titled The Survivors will soon hit the digital screens, offering fans an exciting way to beat the heat by watching quality content right from their home’s comfort.
From June 6th, 2025, the novel-based crime mystery series will become available for watching online on the platform with a basic subscription to its services.

Plot
Based on acclaimed British-Australian author Jane Harper’s Novel with the same name, The Survivors’ plot unfolds in the mysteriously silent town of Evelyn Bay, located on the island state of Tasmania, Australia.
The six-episode series follows the story of Kieran Elliott, who, accompanied by his partner and child, returns back to his coastal hometown after 15 years to look after his unwell father. One day, things take a dramatic turn in Evelyn Bay when the corpse of a young woman is found lying lifeless on an empty beach. In no time, this chilling discovery sends a wave of terror among the native people, including Kieran Elliot and his family.
For Kieran, however, this incident even brings back the traumatic memory of a deadly storm that hit the area 15 years ago, claiming two innocent lives and causing a young girl to go missing, never to be found again.
As the town goes silent in grief and authorities proceed with the investigation to find out the reason behind the death of the young woman, dark forgotten chapters from the past are unearthed, putting the folks face to face with the horrors from their pasts once again. What happens next and how Kieran deals with the alarming situation while also ensuring the safety and well-being of his loved ones is the remaining story of the web series.

The star-studded cast of The Survivors includes Jessica De Gouw, Ian Bliss, Catherine McClements, Charlie Vickers, Damien Garvey, Johnny Carr, Thom Green, Benedict Hardie, Julian Weeks, Miriama Smith, Robyn Malcolm, Don Hany, George Mason, Yerin Ha, and Martin Sacks essaying main roles. Tony Ayres, under the banner of Matchbox Pictures, has produced the limited series with Jane Harper serving as its executive producer.
