New Delhi: The highly anticipated Italian romantic series called The Tearsmith, adapted from the best-selling novel by Erin Doom, will focus on the disturbed teens Nica and Rigel and their terrible romance.
A fascinating teaser that delves further into their terrible history and new lives has already been released by the creators. In anticipation of its April launch, the streaming platform is ramping up its over-the-top promotions to keep interest strong.
Plot
After surviving the atrocities of an abusive orphanage, two troubled teens named Nica and Rigel wound themselves in the care of the same family in The Tearsmith. Their lives are filled with darkness and frightening memories. They have to put their differences aside and walk a new road together, but their toxic love might destroy them.
Due to the exposed nature of their love for one another, Nica, and Rigel both suffer from crippling self-doubt. They are forced to face their own demons and make tough decisions as their incontestable bond deepens. United by an unseen bond, they seek comfort in one another, forging their own paths in the face of adversity.
The trailer introduces us to the two main characters, two teenagers who share a history of abuse at the hands of the Grave orphanage. One finds solace in the folklore of a mystery artisan who can produce tears, while the other loses themselves in music as a means of processing their traumatic experiences.

Cast and Crew
Sabrina Paravicini and Alessandro Bedetti have significant parts in the film, in addition to Simone Baldasseroni, who plays the character of Rigel, and Caterina Ferioli, who plays Nica.
Iginio Straffi and Alessandro Usai are producing the film adaptation, which is directed by Alessandro Genovesi.
