The Vaccine War: Oscar Academy wants to include Vivek Agnihotri’s film screenplay in Library archive

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Library is very interested in purchasing the script for The Vaccine War to add to their illustrious Core Collection.

New Delhi: Filmmakers Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri and Pallavi Joshi have received widespread praise and critical acclaim for their film, The Vaccine War. The rising buzz about the film is a testament to its cultural and social relevance.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Library is very interested in purchasing the script for The Vaccine War to add to their illustrious Core Collection.

Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri has also announced that the screenplay of The Vaccine War will be added to the permanent core collection of the Academy Library.

On October 3rd, Phillip Garcia Librarian at Oscar Academy sent him an email. The Academy’s managing librarian sent out the email saying, “We here in the Library of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences are interested in acquiring a copy of the screenplay THE VACCINE WAR for the permanent Core Collection…”

Vivek has shown the snapshot of the email that had been sent to him by The Academy. He posted the screenshot on X and remarked on it, “I am proud that the script of #TheVaccineWar #ATrueStory has been invited and accepted in the ‘Academy Collections’ by the library of http://Oscars.org. I am happy that for hundreds of years more and more serious people will read this great story of Indian superheroes.”

About The Vaccine War

On the 28th of September 2023, The Vaccine War was released in theatres in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. Leading parts of the three scientists are played by Nana Patekar, Sapthami Gowda, and Pallavi Joshi. Raima Sen played the role of a journalist. The film also stars Nivedita Bhattacharya and Mohan Kapur, and Anupam Kher plays a pivotal part. The Indian scientists who battled COVID-19 and ultimately created a vaccine for it are the heroes.
