The Watchers OTT Release: The most anticipated Supernatural Horror Film is all set to premiere on 14th November on Jio Cinema. The film was released in theaters in the United States on June 7th 2024.
Plot
The story of the super natural film follows the life of a 28 year old artist named ‘Mina’. Mina gets trapped in a untouched forest in the west of Ireland. She gets trapped with 3 other strangers who are stalked my scary and mysterious creatures every night.
Meanwhile, the trailer of the film opens with a woman Mina who is talking to her parrot and telling him that she is going out tonight, try not to die. The parrot repeats what Mina said.
In the next scene, she is driving her car with her parrot and as they are driving they reach in the middle of the forest when her car breaks down. Meanwhile, Mina comes out of her car with her parrot and screams for help.
However, as she looks around for someone, she notices a woman standing on the door and she tells her you have exactly 5 seconds or the door will be shut. Mina runs and enters inside.
She spots 3 others strangers inside and asks them what is this place and where are we? However, the woman tells Mina that there are some rules to stay here and you can survive only if you follow the rules.
The 3 other strangers are trapped in that room for several months. One of the woman’s husband went outside one day and never returned. Meanwhile, as Mina is trapped inside the room she explores a lot of weird and creepy things
And she wants to get outside that place at any cost.
The film received negative reviews from the critics and audience and grossed over $33 million worldwide.
