Thandel OTT Release Date: Naga Chaitanya’s Thandel, which premiered on the big screens earlier this month on February 7 2025 has emerged as a massive hit at the Box office.

Helmed by acclaimed filmmaker Chandoo Mondeti, the Telugu drama has become Naga’s first-ever film to zoom past the figure of Rs 100 crore, taking the young actor’s career to new heights and glory.

Celebrating the same, the 38-year-old recently also threw a high-octane party in Hyderabad which was attended by a number of celebrities. Meanwhile, with Thendel’s exceptional Box office journey now nearing its conclusion, fans are now waiting for the movie to premiere on the digital screens with bated breath.

Where to watch Thandel online on OTT? 

As per the latest reports, Netflix has bagged Thandel’s streaming rights for a fancy amount of money and is all set to make it available for streaming online on its platform in the coming days. While an official confirmation about the same is yet to be made by the filmmakers, sources hint that the romantic thriller movie might land on the OTT gaint on or around March 14th, 2025.

Plot

Thandel is the story of Srikakulam, a fisherman who, despite his wife’s warning, ventures deep inside the sea and unintentionally ends up in the Pakistani waters. In no time, he is spotted by the Pakistani authorities who arrest the guy immediately, leaving him dejected and scared for his life.  What happens next and how Srikakulam struggles to return to India and reunite with his family is the rest of the film’s story.

Besides Naga Chaitanya, Thandel features several other actors like  Sai Pallavi, Prakash Belawadi, Aadukalam Naren, Divya Pillai, Karunakaran, Babloo Prithiveeraj, Kalpa Latha, Charandeep, Kalyani Natarajan, Parvateesam, Mahesh Achanta, Reddi Bhanu Prasad, Kishore Raju Vasishta, Krishna Kumar P, Sri Pavan, and Abhinav Singh Raghav in its star cast.
