Tires OTT Release Date: After the success of his stand-up special, Gillis will be collaborating with Netflix again with the release of the comedy series Tires on May 23, 2024.

New Delhi: To entertain the viewers with full comedy, Netflix has produced a new comedy series called Tires. An auto shop is the setting for this hilarious workplace comedy about an incompetent heir who tries to run the shop with the help of his cousin, who doesn’t fit in but ends up causing all sorts of problems for the business.

Everyone has great hopes for this one because of the calibre of the comedic talent involved, namely Shane Gillis. Coming to the OTT platform on May 23, this newest comedy series will soon be unveiled by Netflix.

Lead roles for the series, which will be directed by John Mckeever, will be played by actors and comedians Steven Gerben and Shane Gillis. A bigger partnership between Shane Gillis and Netflix, which started with his performance at the ‘Netflix Is A Joke 2024 Festival,’ includes this series.

Season 2 of Tires, which will include Shane Gillis in a new stand-up special, will launch on Netflix in 2025, as reported before the first season premieres.

Plot

The protagonist, Will, is a nervous and unskilled young man who tries to save his father’s car repair shop from certain doom. Just as Will is ready to calm down and get down to the business of running a tyre shop as usual, his irresponsible cousin-turned-employee, Shane, causes him trouble—and amusing events ensue.

While Will is busy trying to boost revenues and customer service, he also needs to lead his cousin, who is always getting in the way.

After the success of his stand-up special, Gillis will be collaborating with Netflix again with the release of the comedy series Tires on May 23, 2024. The six episodes of the series will air simultaneously at 12:00 am PT / 3:00 am ET.

Cast and Crew

Comedians John McKeever, Steven Gerben, and Shane Gillis are behind the creation, writing, and production of this six-episode scripted comedy series.

Will, played by Steven Gerben, and Shane, played by Shane Gillis, are the show’s main protagonists. Stavros Halkias, Andrew Schulz, Kilah Fox, and Chris O’Connor are among the other members of the supporting cast.

After Gillis’ stand-up special Beautiful Dogs, the production company Dad Sick Productions—which includes McKeever—releases Tires.

Rough House has a strong collaborative effort behind it, with Brandon James serving as executive producer and Brian Stern and Kenneth Slotnick as executive producers for AGI Entertainment Media & Management.
