More About To Kill a Tiger movie

Dwelling deep into society’s misogynistic victim-blaming mindset, To Kill a Tiger circles around the life of a poor Jharkhand-based farmer Ranjit who is determined to get justice for his 13-year-old daughter Kiran mercilessly raped by three persons from his own village.

However, instead of standing by a father in his quest to get his daughter’s rapists behind bars, the sick-minded villagers turn their back on his family & discourage them from going to court. As if this was already not sticking enough, some villagers even begin to put pressure on Ranjith to marry off his minor daughter to one of her predators.

How Ranjith manages to rise up to the challenges and face the misogyny’s society to get Kiran’s rapist punished through legal route forms the crux of the movie.
