Toofan OTT Release Date: After receiving a positive response from the audience at the box office, the Bangladeshi Bengali film is all set to arrive in the OTT screens from 19th September on Hoichoi.
The film hit the theaters on 17th June 2024 and received nice response from the crtitics and the audience. The film also became the highest-grossing Bangladeshi film of 2024.
Plot
The story of the film revolves around the life of a man named Galib Bin Gani who has lost his mother while giving birth. The man Galib Bin was raised in a troubled childhood.
Hence he decides to become a gangster. Galib Bin’s father was killed during a fight with a land raider. Galib Bin who is also known as ‘Toofan’ then decides to avenge his father’s death.
However, after killing ‘Toofan’s father the gangster was arrested and sent to jail. Then another gangster comes in the picture and he bribes the authorities and makes effort for the release of the accuse who killed Toofan’s father.
Meanwhile, this gangster then incluide this killer in his gang. Soon Toofan comes to know that his father’s killer is released from jail and also about the man who helped him getting out of the jail.
Toofan then makes a plan to kill this man and succeeds and later bonds with his rival also. As Toofan is crazy for name and fame, some people advise him to join politics.
Meanwhile, one of his associates also arrange a meeting with a Politician so that Toofan can speak to them, but Toofan feels disrespected and kills everyone in the meeting.
Toofan then join hands with one of the political parties and soon become popular among the people.
Star Cast and Production
Film is written and directed by Raihan Rafi and the star cast featurs Shakib Khan, Chanchal Chowdhury and Masuma Rahman in pivotal roles.
