New Delhi: True Detective: Night Country, the long-awaited fourth season on HBO, will soon be available to watch on Jio Cinema in both Hindi and English. The 2014 season saw the premiere of the hit HBO anthology crime drama. Issa Lopez penned an enthralling six-episode chapter for the highly popular series, set to debut on January 15, 2024. The series presents Jodie Foster and Kali Reis.

Plot

True Detective: Night Country follows Detectives Liz Danvers (Jodie Foster) and Evangeline Navarro (Kali Reis) as they work to solve the case of eight missing men from the Tsalal Arctic Research Station. The missing men were reported on a frigid winter night in Alaska.

Foster and Reis, the investigators, will need to confront their demons if they want to find the ethereal mysteries buried in the tundra of Alaska. Finn Bennett, Fiona Shaw, Christopher Eccleston, Isabella Star LaBlanc, and John Hawkes make up the primary cast, with special appearances by Anna Lambe, Aka Niviana, June Thiele, Diane Benson, and Joel D. Montgrand.

Season 4 of True Detective will see Jodie Foster taking the lead role, with executive producer Barry Jenkins and writer Issa Lopez collaborating.
