New Delhi: Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer rom-com ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ has crossed Rs 100 crore mark at the Indian Box Office. After 11 days of run in cinemas, the film has earned Rs 101.98 crore net at the domestic box office. The Luv Ranjan film is attracting audiences with the star power attached to it and the entertainment offered.
‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ Box Office Collection
Releasing on March 8 and being a Holi release, the film garnered a great responce since its opening. The film earned about Rs 14 crore on the opening day and ss per industry tracker Sacnilk Entertainment, the film earned Rs 6.03 crore on day 11 as the collection nearly doubled as compared to day 10. The film has been doing well on weekends and is continue to make its audience buy the tickets.
With the day 11 collection, the total box office numbers in the Indian markets touched Rs 101.98 crore net and Rs 120.35 crore gross.
The overseas collection of the film has been about Rs 31 crore, which takes it total gross collection to Rs 151.35 crore.
About the film
The film revolves around a couple wanting to separate but do not and rather start playing a dirty game. It is a story of a “playboy” meeting a tough competitor for him. Apart from Ranbir and Shraddha, the film also stars Dimple Kapadia, Boney Kapoor and comedian Anubhav Singh Bassi.
The chartbusters from the trio of Pritam-Arijit Singh-Amitabh Bhattacharya have also been a reason behind audience coming to the theatres. ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ released on March 8 and is running in cinemas.
