New Delhi: Malayalam action hero Mammootty’s latest mass movie Turbo is soon arriving to enthrill the fans on OTT.
According to the latest reports, the film’s streaming rights have been purchased by renowned digital platform Sony LIV where it is all set to roll out in the coming days.
While the makers of the flicker are yet to confirm Turbo’s exact OTT premiere date, sources suggest that the Vysakh directorial might make it to the digital screens anytime around July 12th, 2024.
Nevertheless, fans are still awaiting the official announcement of the thriller flick’s digital debut with bated breath.
Turbo at the Box Office
Turbo graced the big screens in a single language (Malayalam) amid massive expectations on May 23rd, 2024. However, disappointing the makers, the movie received a mixed reception from the fans & performed average at the Box Office.
By the end of its theatrical run in the major cities, it amassed just about Rs 70 crore (Approximately) from the ticket windows & failed to do anything remarkable at the Box Office.
Turbo Movie Plot
Written by Midhun Manuel Thomas, Turbo sees Mammootty as Aruvipurathu Jose Aka Turbo Jose who drives a Jeep in Idukki. His life takes a major turn when unavoidable circumstances compel him to leave the area and shift to the bustling city of Chennai.
There, Jose gets along with his close buddy Jerry and also crosses paths with a beautiful woman named Indhulekha. However, besides these two, the guy also encounters various challenges in the city. What happens next & how the trio overcomes the troubles together is the movie’s remaining story.
