New Delhi: Veteran TV actor Veena Kapoor, who was known to be murdered by her son, came out and shared the news of her being alive. When Mumbai police found a woman being murdered for a property dispute and an accused who accepted murdering his mother, the news broke out that the deceased woman is actor Veena Kapoor. She recently filed an NC at the Dindoshi police station and also came out to address the news.
Veena Kapoor, said that she is alive and her son did not kill her. She added that since the news broke out, she has received various calls and messages consoling her death, which is why she has not been able to concentrate on her work. Also, people stopped approaching her for work, considering she is no more.

Her son Abhishek Chadda said that he did not feel good about the rumours and he could not, even in dreams, think of killing his mother. He appealed to people to not spread rumours on social media.

The reports said that the 74-year-old actor was killed after being hit by a baseball bat and that her body was dumped in a river in Raigad. Veena’s co-actor Nilu Kohli was the one who broke out the news on social media as she shared a post on Instagram. The actor is known for her work in ‘Mitter Pyare Nu Haal Mureedan Da Kehna’, ‘Dal: The Gang’ and ‘Bandhan Pheron Ke’. She has also featured in two episodes of the TV show ‘Britz’.
