New Delhi: A 30-year-old aspiring television actress died by suicide in a hotel room at Mumbai’s Versova. The incident reportedly happened on Wednesday night. The police found a suicide note in the room, apparently written by the actress. In the note, she requested the police not take action against anyone.
Took the extreme step due to stress
The actress used to live with her parents at Yamuna Nagar, near Lokhandwala Complex in Andheri. As per the preliminary investigation, the actress was living under stress. Before taking the extreme step, she booked a room in a hotel in Versova to hang herself.
When police reached the crime spot, they found a suicide note in the room. In the note, she wrote that she has taken the decision to take her life with free will. No one should be blamed for the action, read the note further.
Accidental death report registered
So far, the police have ruled out any foul play in the suicide case. However, an accidental death report in the matter has been registered.
