New Delhi: On this day, 21 years ago, Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna tied the knot and exchanged wedding vows. Thus, today marks the 21st wedding anniversary of the duo. To celebrate this occasion, actress-author, Twinkle Khanna took to Instagram and wished Akshay Kumar in a quirky and unique manner that won the hearts of fans.
Twinkle Khanna shared a candid picture of them where they seemed to be engrossed in deep conversation. In the picture, the duo is sitting face-to-face in an outdoor restaurant. Akshay Kumar is seen wearing a yellow hoodie pairing it with dark coloured pant and a black cap, while Twinkle Khanna wore a beige sweater, matching scarf, and blue demins.
Sharing the photo on Instagram, Twinkle gave a glimpse of their morning conversation where she said that she might not have even talked to Akshay Kumar had they met today at a party. However, she revealed Akshay’s hilarious reply which stated that he would still talk to her and called her “Bhabhi Ji.”
The caption read:
“On our 21st anniversary, we have a chat.
Me: You know, we are so different that if we met at a party today, I don’t know if I would even talk to you.
Him: I would definitely talk to you.
Me: Why am I not surprised. So like what? You would ask me out?

For those unaware, Akshay and Twinkle fell in love with each other during the shoot of their film, International Khiladi. However, they waited and tied the knot on January 17, 2001.
Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna are blessed with two kids namely Aarav and Nitara. Like, father, Aarav has a knack for martial arts whereas Nitara is just 9 years old and is growing fast.
In terms of work, Akshay Kumar was last seen in Rohit Shetty’s directorial Sooryavanshi and Aanand L Rai’s Atrangi Re. Several movies are in his pipeline such as Ram Setu, Raksha Bandhan, Bachchan Pandey, Prithviraj, OMG 2, and Selfiee.
