New Delhi: The 2022 horror-thriller film – Udal, starring Durga Krishna and Dhyan Sreenivasan, will finally premiere on OTT after much anticipation. With Indrans and Jude Anthany Joseph rounding out the cast, the horror drama film is directed by newcomer Ratheesh Reghunandan.
Despite its May 20, 2022, release, the film reportedly had trouble finding an over-the-top partner as it did poorly at the box office. However, the creators have finally succeeded in selling Saina Play the OTT rights to Udal. The regional digital portal will make it streamable starting January 5, 2024.

The horror thriller Udal, starring Dhyan Sreenivasan and Durga Krishna, takes place at Kuttichayan’s house.
Plot
Shyni is a stay-at-home woman who left her career after getting married. She is obligated to care for her sick mother-in-law after being stuck at her husband’s home during the lockdown. Because no one is willing to lend her a hand, she feels stifled. Meanwhile, she has an affair with Kiran, a former classmate. Things don’t work out when they decide to elope. In this horror thriller mystery, viewers also meet Kuttichayan, a visually impaired adversary who terrorises his daughter-in-law and her partner. Udal revolves around what occurs next.

The film Udal will finally be available to stream on January 5th on the Saina Play platform, after a long absence from theatres.
The movie’s release date was announced by Saina Play on their social media platforms, and they wrote, “Mark your calendars! ‘UDAL’ STREAMING ON SAINA PLAY FROM JAN 5th! ❤🔥🔥.”

Additional Details
Durga Krishna brought the role of Shyni to life in the film, while Indran represented the character Kuttichayan. Dhyan Sreenivasan was the one who characterized Kiran.
Ratheesh Raghunandan wrote and directed the emotionally packed film Udal, which was produced by Gokulam Gopalan under the name of Gokulam Movies. Krishnamurthy is the executive producer, while V.C. Praveen and Baiju Gopalan are the co-producers.
It was Manoj Pillai who oversaw the cinematography, Nishad Yusuf was responsible for the editing, and William Francis was responsible for the composition of the musical soundtrack.
