Ultraman: Rising OTT Release Date: On June 14, 2024, Ultraman: Rising will be made accessible for streaming on the over-the-top platform – Netflix.

New Delhi: Superhero animated feature Ultraman: Rising is in the works, adapted from the Ultraman series by Tsuburaya Productions. This film is the 44th instalment in the series and was animated by Industrial Light & Magic. It is a Japanese-American co-production between Tsuburaya Productions and Netflix Animation.

With the release of Ultraman: Rising, Netflix will expose viewers to the latest instalment of a popular Japanese superhero. June 14 is the scheduled global release date of Ultraman: Rising on Netflix.

Upon his return to Japan, the protagonist Ken Sato assumes the role of Ultraman, becoming the hero’s newest incarnation. But he feels obligated to take care of a baby kaiju monster, a child of his enemy.

Plot

A baseball superstar named Ken Sato returns to Tokyo just as a fresh round of monster assaults begins in Ultraman: Rising. Carrying on his father’s legacy, he assumes the role of Ultraman. Becoming the adoptive father of a newborn kaiju is one of many obstacles that Ken must overcome.

Mastering his new abilities is a crucial part of Ken Sato’s journey as Ultraman. With every creature he encounters, he fights against his self-doubt. Managing several obligations may be satisfying, and he learns to ask friends for aid when he needs it.

In Ken’s narrative, there is a mysterious danger that seeks to take advantage of the baby kaiju. Dr Onda’s private army, which Ultraman encounters, is out to capture the child and would stop at nothing to do it, including sending armed planes into crowded urban areas. From other monsters to a gigantic mech carrying a sword, Ken and the infant kaiju can overcome their formidable foes because of their special link.

Cast and Crew

Christopher Sean portrays Ken Sato/Ultraman in the film, which also features Rob Fukuzaki, Hiro Nakamura, Gedde Watanabe, Tamlyn Tomita, Keone Young, Frank Buckley, François Chau, and a plethora of additional voice actors.

Shannon Tindle, an Emmy winner, is part of a brilliant crew who developed Ultraman: Rising. As well as co-writing the screenplay with Marc Haimes, Shannon Tindle and John Aoshima served as directors. Working together, Tsuburaya Productions and Industrial Light & Magic created the film’s animation.
