New Delhi: American comedy superstar Jerry Seinfeld’s first feature film as a filmmaker, Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story, is sure to be a smash hit. He is bringing the true tale of America’s most popular dessert, the Pop-Tart, to the big screen.

Jerry Seinfeld and Netflix stepped up to the plate to reveal the untold narrative. With all the information laid forth in Unfrosted, the notorious rivalry between Post Cereal and Kellogg’s will be shown. Rivalry arose between the two major companies as they raced to market with the world’s first innovative breakfast.

Plot

Set in 1963 Michigan, the film follows corporate rivals Post and Kellogg’s as they race to design a cake that may revolutionize breakfast.

Based on the preceding glimpse, we can see the inside of a toaster, with its blazing heating components. Listening to Jerry Seinfeld’s voice in the background takes us to a more carefree era, the early 1960s. According to Seinfeld’s soft narration, there was a time when a hot bowl of cereal with cold, refreshing milk was the ideal accompaniment to sweet, crunchy flakes for breakfast—not a dish of avocado toast or a gourmet smoothie—but a bowl of steaming cereal.

Original History

It all started in 1963 when Michigan got involved in a tasty rivalry. Huge rivalry erupted between cereal business heavyweights Kellogg’s and Post as they vied to create the next game-changing breakfast item. Not content with only serving flakes or puffs, they dreamed of a portable pastry that would revolutionize morning rituals with its deliciousness, portability, and ease of use. There were sweet plots, high-stakes espionage, and a morning pastry that would go on to become a symbol of childhood in this epic breakfast conflict.

Cast

Jerry Seinfeld appears with a superb ensemble cast that includes Jim Gaffigan, Amy Schumer, James Marsden, Thomas Lennon, Bobby Moynihan, Maria Bakalova, Max Greenfield, Bill Burr, Dan Levy, Christian Slater, and Hugh Grant.

With the help of his brilliant collaborators Spike Feresten, Barry Marder, and Andy Robin, the script is sure to be a funny and nostalgic treat. Behind Beau Beauman’s Columbus 81 Productions umbrella are Jerry Seinfeld, Spike Feresten, and themselves as producers. Christophe Beck contributes his musical expertise to the production by composing the score for the film.
