The last time we saw Kamal Haasan onscreen was in the 2022 Lokesh Kanagaraj film Vikram, and he had a brief appearance in the 2023 Thalapathy Vijay flick Leo. Kamal Haasan seems to be returning to the big screen with a slew of new projects.

The much-anticipated sequel to S Shankar’s 1996 film Indian, in which Kamal Haasan will next feature, is titled Indian 2. Senapathy, played by the legendary Kamal Haasan, is an elderly Indian independence warrior who, in his vigilante role, seeks out corrupt officials. The film has an impressive ensemble cast that includes Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth, Kajal Aggarwal, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and many more.
Thug Life
After working together on the 1987 gangster flick Nayakan, Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam finally reunite in Thug Life. Among the most anticipated films of all time, the picture is sure to deliver. The film’s title video was released in 2023. The movie is said to be an exciting action thriller. The picture was made by a trio of studios: Red Giant Movies, Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies, and Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International.
KH233
Despite the lack of official information, KH233 is being billed as a military action picture. In preparation for his next film, Kamal Haasan took to social media to post a clip from a shooting range. The film is now in pre-production, and the creators released the announcement video in July 2023.
