New Delhi: A day after the death of popular TV actor Vaishali Thakkar in Indore allegdly by suicide, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra said the state police have registered a case of abetment of suicide against neighbour couple Rahul Navlani and his wife Disha.
According to the police, Viashali was found hanging from a ceiling fan with a stole in her house in Saibag Colony of Indore on Sunday.
A case was registered against her neighbour Rahul Navlani and his wife Disha under Indian Penal Code Section 306 (abetment of suicide) in Vishali’s suicide case and further investigation is underway.
Police said that the actor’s family members alleged that Rahul Navlani was troubling her since he came to know about her marriage plans.
However, after the death of Vaishali, the accused couple was not found at their Indore home.
The Police informed that the couple had gone away somewhere after locking the house.

Police also said that Vishali Thakkar and Navlani’s fathers are business partners and they have known each other for long time.
Vaishali Thakkar started her career with TV serial ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. She became a household name while acting in ‘Sasural Simar Ka.’ She has also worked in several other serials.
Accordign to sources, Vaishali was a native of Mahidpur town in the Ujjain district and was living in Indore for the last three years.
