Vanangaan OTT Release Date: Where will Arun Vijay and Ridha’s premiere after its theatrical run? All we know

Vanangaan OTT Release Date: Arun Vijay and Ridha recently shared the frame in Bala’s latest Tamil drama movie titled Vanangaan. Released in theaters on January 10th, 2025, the movie received a mixed reception from the cinemagoers and has already amassed a decent collection of Rs 3.60 crores from the ticket windows.

Meanwhile, as the flick continues to hold strong at the Box Office,  fans are also waiting for its makers to unveil the platform where it will premiere after wrapping up its theatrical journey.

Coming to the same, Amazon Prime Video, as per unofficial reports, has bagged Vanangaan’s OTT rights for a modest amount of money. This means that after the end of its Box Office run, the Arun starrer crime thriller will land on the digital streaming gaint, allowing the fans to enjoy it right from the comfort of their homes. However, it is important to note here that an official statement on the same is yet to be made by the filmmakers.

Plot of the Movie

Venangaan tells the tale of a mute and deaf man named Koti who, along with his sister Devui, resides in the South Indian city of Kanyakumari and is employed as a worker at a local Orphanage.

One day, Koti witnesses a trio of three notorious criminals assaulting a bling girl at his workplace and decides to teach them a lesson.  Driven with rage and a strong sense of Justice, the guy not only saves the poor girl from the perpetrators but also punishes them in a ruthless manner. What happens next and how Koti faces the legal consequences of his actions is revealed in the latter half of the movie.

Cast and Production

In addition to Arun Vijay and Ridha, Vanangaan also features Shanmugarajan, John Vijay, Samuthirakani, Radha Ravi, Mysskin, and Singampuli in its star cast. Bala and Suresh Kamatchi have bankrolled the movie under the banner of B Studios and V House Productions.
