Vanvaas OTT Release Date: Where to stream Nana Patekar’s family drama after its theatrical run? All we know

Vanvaas OTT Release Date: Gadar 2’s director Anil Sharma’s recently released family movie Vanvaas failed to impress the fans at the Box office. Released in theaters on December 20th, 2024, the film, featuring renowned star Nana Patekar in its main cast, got a mixed reception from the cinegoers but thankfully managed to zoom past its break-even revenue figure, with its current collection standing at Rs 5.61 crores (approx).

Now,  with the flick’s Box Office run nearing its conclusion, its makers have reportedly locked a deal with Zee5, selling the movie’s OTT rights to the streamer for a decent amount of price.

This makes it obvious that after concluding its theatrical run, Vanvaas will make its much-awaited digital debut on Zee5, allowing the viewers to enjoy it right from the comfort of their homes. However, it is important to note here that the filmmakers have yet to announce the final date of the movie’s OTT premiere.

Plot of the Film

After Deepak Tyagi’s sons unexpectedly turn their back on their father and abandon him during a trip to Varanasi, the poor man, suffering from dementia, crosses paths with a small-time thief named Veeru. What happens next and how Deepak and Veeru end up striking a unique bond of friendship with one another is the remaining story of the movie.

Cast and Production

In addition to Nana Patekar, Vanvaas, in its star cast, also features Utkarsh Sharma, Simrat Kaur, and Rajpal Yadav amongst others essaying pivotal roles. Anil Sharma, in association with Suman Sharma, has produced the movie under Zee Studios and Anil Sharma Productions.
